Tube Fitting Essentials Training
This course teaches students foundational tube fitting knowledge that minimizes risk of leakage and ensures system safety and integrity. Upon completion of this class, students should be able to:
- Properly select, cut and deburr tubing
- Identify thread types and installation practices
- Correctly assemble a Swagelok® tube fitting ranging up to 3/4"
- Properly prepare threaded installations
- Gauge a tube fitting assembly to ensure proper pull up
- Understand fitting components and their importance to proper assembly
- Learn about other fitting types and tools to make the job easier
