Introduction to Hydrogen
Hydrogen is used in several industrial processes, and is a fundamental building block for the manufacturing of ammonia (fertilizers), methanol, and many polymers. In addition, it is used in the manufacturing of intermediate oil products in refineries, blended into natural gas, and used as an alternative fuel.
Hydrogen applications can either be considered as Infrastructure (dispensers, storage cylinders, compressors, separators, and pressure control devices), or On-Vehicle Applications (light-duty, heavy-duty, rail, ship, and aerospace).
