Swagelok Company Expands Executive Team
Solon, Ohio (November 7, 2022) — To support the organization’s continued growth, six new executive appointments and one promotion to c-suite were announced by Thomas F. Lozick, chairman and chief executive officer of Swagelok Company.
Brent Blouch has been promoted to chief commercial officer and is responsible for sales support, marketing, and corporate engineering. Blouch joined Swagelok in 2006 and held a variety of leadership positions in planning, operations, human resources, and engineering before being appointed to vice president, global sourcing and logistics in 2016. In 2020, he was promoted to senior vice president, supply chain and customer solutions, and most recently served as senior vice president, commercial. Brent holds a Bachelor of Science degree in manufacturing engineering from Miami University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University.
Lisa McKay is promoted to vice president of supply chain, with responsibility for supply chain and customer service. McKay joined Swagelok as a master planner in 2001 and has held leadership roles in supply chain, logistics, raw materials, and customer service. She was promoted to director, raw material, tooling, and warehouse in 2020 and most recently served as director, global supply chain. McKay holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in logistics and an MBA, both from John Carroll University.
Wayne Ostrosky is promoted to vice president of operations and succeeds Ward Dumm, senior vice president of operations, who is retiring at the end of 2022. In this role, Ostrosky is responsible for the organization’s domestic and international operations service groups. He joined Swagelok in 1995 and has held a number of leadership positions in engineering and operations. Ostrosky was promoted to director, manufacturing strategies and systems in 2015 and most recently served as director of operations. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering technology from Kent State University.
Dwayne Petish has been promoted to vice president of tax and treasurer. His responsibilities include tax, treasury, and payroll, as well as risk and audit. Petish joined the organization as treasurer and director of tax in 2020 with responsibility for all treasury functions, including hedging and investments, cash forecasting and modeling; payroll; and the overall tax function, including compliance and strategic planning. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and an MBA, both from Baldwin Wallace University.
Ron Plazek has been promoted to vice president of sourcing and is responsible for sourcing, raw material operations, and warehousing. Plazek joined the organization as director of operational accounting in 2013 and transitioned into his most recent role as director of global sourcing in 2017, with responsibility for indirect and component sourcing, as well as supplier development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Purdue University.
Jen Woo has been promoted to vice president of HR operations. In this role, Woo is responsible for HR business partnerships and HR systems and services which includes operational excellence and HRIS. Since joining the organization in 2016, Woo has held a variety of leadership roles in the human resources function and most recently served as director of global HR business partners. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and management from the University of Mount Union.
Di Xu has been promoted to vice president, corporate controller with responsibility for financial reporting and operational accounting. Xu joined the organization as controller in 2015 and is responsible for managing the company's financial reporting and external audits, as well as developing and maintaining company-wide finance and accounting policies. She holds a bachelor’s degree in literature from Peking University, a master’s degree in economics from the University of New Mexico, and master’s degree in accounting from the University of Akron, as well as an active CPA license.
