Swagelok Tube Bending Essentials Training — Full-day Course
More connections means greater potential for leaks. This full-day seminar conducted by our Swagelok-certified Training Team, offers foundational knowledge needed to introduce bent tubing to your system to eliminate connections and leak points found in traditional welded pipe systems.
Upon course completion, students will be able to properly cut and deburr tubing, explain the purpose of various marks used in tube bending, bend tubing with the correct bend angle made in the correct location, identify potential bend defects, and properly assemble a box comprised of various lengths of tubing, bent according to need.
ATTENDEES WILL LEARN:
• Practice "measure-bend method" through hands-on exercises using Hand Tube Bender• Demonstrate tube bending concepts to complete quality 45°, 90°, 180° and offset bends • Identify common tube bend defects
HANDS-ON EXERCISES
Each attendee will complete the Final Practical Bend Exam — this is what your Box will look like when complete! All participants will receive a comprehensive workbook to guide them through the seminar and serve as a technical reference upon completion.
